About Video
WHAT IS HACK-4-SAGES? +

HACK-4-SAGES is an interdisciplinary and hybrid hackathon focused on the origins of life on Earth. You will work on real-world scientific challenges using a digital twin approach.

WHO ARE THE ORGANIZERS? +

We are a team led by ETH Zurich with partners from Warsaw and Gdansk Universities of Technology.

WHAT ARE THE AWARDS? +

One winning team in each of the three categories (so three teams in total) will be invited to ETH Zürich in September 2026 to present their projects at the early-career workshop of the Origins Federation Conference and hands-on workshop at ETH Zürich. Additionally, they will be awarded extended mentorship to support their project refinement before the workshop. All the trip expenses will be covered.

WHEN IS THE HACKATHON? +

The hackathon will take place from March 9th to March 13th, 2026.
